If you are looking for well thought out, perfectly situated, self-catering holiday accommodation in lovely cosy cottages then you have found it. With a beautiful edge of village setting The House of Bread enjoys many local facilities including local shops & pubs and a wealth of indoor and outdoor activities and beautiful scenery practically on the doorstep. So you can enjoy a romantic weekend away or a fun filled activity holiday. It’s up to you!

Two Beautiful Cottages & Barn Conversion

At the House of Bread our self-catering accommodation is provided in our two lovely stone built cottages and barn conversion. They all provide flexible accommodation to suit your needs and are self-contained with their own entrances, and private outside space.

The cottages sleep up to 4 in each (in either 2 double rooms or a double and a twin) and the Barn is a spacious one bed. We are dog friendly and allow 1-2 dogs per cottage (for a small extra charge).

Our minimum stay in any of our properties is 2 nights with flexible change-over days. Just drop us a line to discuss your needs.

Home Cottage - The House of Bread

Home Cottage

Home Cottage is the older of the two cottages (circa 1750) and is packed full of character. It is slightly larger downstairs with a separate spacious dining room, cosy lounge and kitchen. It has a characterful staircase, airy family bathroom, a slightly smaller master bedroom than Old Bakery Cottage and a second bedroom (that can be set as a double or a twin), both bedrooms have TVs and there is a small pretty outside seating area.

Old Bakery Cottage

Old Bakery Cottage is more modern in layout with a combined lounge/diner (with a woodburner), separate kitchen and a downstairs loo. Upstairs it has a large and airy master bedroom, a second bedroom (which can be set as a double or a twin) and a light and airy family bathroom. It has a small, self-contained courtyard garden area.

Butty Barn - The House of Bread

Butty Barn

Along with our two holiday cottages at the House of Bread, we now have a new addition – Butty Barn. Recently completed & renovated to the highest standard, a luxurious large one-bedroom barn conversion.

It’s a beautiful stone barn with all original features, including a delightful log burner, slate floors, huge bedroom, very spacious but cosy lounge diner, fully fitted bathroom with bath & shower, fitted kitchen with dishwasher & boot room.
