Great Location & Flexible Accommodation

If you are looking for well thought out, perfectly situated, peaceful holiday accommodation in lovely country cottages then you have found it. With a beautiful edge of village setting The House of Bread enjoys many local facilities including local shops & pubs and a wealth of indoor and outdoor activities and beautiful scenery practically on the doorstep. So you can enjoy a romantic weekend away or a fun filled activity holiday. It’s up to you!

We offer Self-Catering Accommodation in our two lovely stone cottages or book-ahead B&B Accommodation in one if that suits you better. We are dog friendly and accept 1-2 dogs per cottage/1 per room (B&B) (for a small extra charge).

Our Self-Catering Accommodation is in our two cottages (Old Bakery Cottage & Home Cottage). Both of which are self-contained with their own entrances, private outside space and offer comfortable, flexible accommodation for up to 4 people (in each) with bedrooms that can be set up as a double and a twin or two doubles.

Our minimum stay is 3 nights self-catering and our usual check in/out is Mon or Fri but there is flexibility on this. Just drop us a line to discuss your specific needs.

If you wish to book both our cottages at the same time one of our cottages (Home Cottage) has a dining room big enough for up to 8 people to dine together).

We offer book-ahead B&B accommodation in Home Cottage which sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms that can be set up as either two doubles or a double and a twin. When you stay with us as a B&B guest in Home Cottage you get your own keys so you can come and go as you please and you have use of the lounge, breakfast/dining room and kitchen (by prior arrangement and for a small charge). We will then cook breakfast to order for you in the kitchen and serve it to you in the dining/breakfast room.

NB: As the bedrooms in Home Cottage share the family-sized bathroom, both rooms can only be booked to people who know each other or who are part of the same party. There is a minimum 2 night B&B stay.
