At the House of Bread our self-catering accommodation is provided in our two lovely stone built cottages (OLD BAKERY COTTAGE & HOME COTTAGE). Both provide flexible accommodation to suit your needs and are self-contained with their own entrances, and private outside space.
They sleep up to 4 in each (in either 2 double rooms or a double and a twin) and provide similar facilities with a few key differences (see below). We are dog friendly and allow 1-2 dogs per cottage (for a small extra charge).
Our minimum stay is 3 nights and our usual check in/out is Mon or Fri but this is flexible. Just drop us a line to discuss your specific needs.
Home Cottage
HOME COTTAGE – is the older of the two cottages (circa 1750) and is packed full of character. It is slightly larger downstairs with a separate spacious dining room, cosy lounge and kitchen. It is slightly smaller upstairs, with a characterful staircase, airy bathroom, a master bedroom and second bedroom (that can be set as a double or a twin), both bedrooms have TVs and there is a small pretty outside seating area.
Old Bakery Cottage

OLD BAKERY COTTAGE – is more modern in layout with a combined lounge/diner (with a woodburner), separate kitchen and a downstairs loo. Upstairs it has a large and airy master bedroom, a second bedroom (which can be set as a double or a twin) and a light and airy bathroom. It has a small, self-contained courtyard garden area.
